The Traitors Season 4, Episode 7: The Black Banquet: When the Table Turned

Episode 7 of The Traitors delivered exactly what Alan Cumming promised when he teased “the most incredible thing in Traitors history” in InStyle—and then some. The Black Banquet was dramatic and delicious!

Draped in jewels and deception, the night’s twist required a Faithful to be murdered in plain sight. In true Lisa fucking Rinna style, she orchestrated the kill using nothing more than a brooch and a performance worthy of an Emmy. Pretending it had poked her, she asked someone for help fastening it. Of course, the editors cruelly kept the victim’s identity hidden.

The real chaos erupted when Alan joined the group. After announcing that a Faithful had been murdered that night, he offered something that could potentially save the victim. Thrusting his arms wide, he held out two potions that might save the murdered Faithful.

What followed was a feast of frenzy!

Natalie suspected poisoning from the meat Stephen served her.

Tara believed she was targeted by Dorinda, who coaxed her to eat food she would normally have avoided.

Johnny feared a tarot-card curse spurred on by Stephen also

Kristen thought fate had chosen her because it was her tarot card that Johny revealed

In a last-second scramble, Johnny handed a potion to Kristen. Natalie and Tara raced to grab the final bottle. claimed the final bottle, with Natalie prevailing.

Moments later, the truth was served: Yam Yam was the victim. As he was dragged away, he repeatedly warned the other cast members… “It was Lisa. She kissed me.”

The fallout was immediate. Suspicion swarmed Natalie for being so adamant and dramatic in her desire to drink the potion—and Lisa.

At the Round Table, Traitor Rob executed a masterclass in game play. Leaning on Yam Yam’s final words, Rob calmly dismantled Lisa’s position, arguing that Faithfuls are rewarded nothing and only ever have guesses—except this time, with a murdered faithful calling out to them, they had proof.

Lisa was banished and gave a dramatic goodbye and with that, the room erupted.

But while Rob seemingly played the game with precision and his wits about him, Candiace played emotionally with a shocking vote against Rob—alone.

Episode 8 left me wanting a second serving!

Rob survived.

And the question remains: Will strategy continue to win… or will emotion finally take him down?
